Resolve

I have a top 10 list of accomplishments that I would like to reach this year. Some are a bit lofty, some are a bit silly… all are things I want to strive for in 2013.

There you have it, folks… the 10 things I plan for my 2013 to be about. It doesn’t necessarily mean the year will go that way, but it’s good to have a plan to start with, even if you stray from it!

Welcome Back

family How was your holiday, reader? I hope you had plenty of time to enjoy your family, friends, and a little champagne! I really got to enjoy spending time with my parents and brother… with my brother going to school up in Chicago, we rarely get to spend extended periods of time together. It was such a blessing.

Now it’s back to the old grind! Thank goodness I actually LOVE my job and coworkers, otherwise I’d be in some real pain coming back after my mini-holiday.

Thanksgiving Thanks

This year I am most thankful for my dad being home for the holidays! It has been 2-3 years since he’s been home. Most of the time he’s in Afghanistan fighting the good fight! We are so lucky to have today with my father! We are all so proud of him for what he does everyday! He is a great man and a great leader in Christ! And he is who I am most thankful for this year! I love you, dad!

I hope everyone celebrating today has a fantastic day filled with family, love, and happiness! You are all in my thoughts and prayers this holiday season!
