-Tummy issues and a sinus headache all rolled into one does not make for a good work day.
-Crazy deadlines for work make Sarah a dull girl. Also a stressed girl. URGH.
-MAKING MY FIRST THANKSGIVING DINNER LAST WEEK!!! It was a triumph, my dears. The husband was SO HAPPY with it. =)
-Work travel next week to Florida! It’s 70 degrees down there! I cannot wait! I’m leaving my coat in the car when I get to the airport! haha. Take that, Indiana weather.
-Putting up the Christmas decorations and buying Christmas gifts just makes me HAPPY. =)
-SO MUCH SNOW in the past week. I’m not into it!
-I can’t figure out how to work my new tea infuser. I love how strong the loose-leaf tea is, but I think I didn’t get a very good infuser. It’s got a stainless steel mini-collander and a glass cup with slits in the bottom. HELP! How do I use this thing?!
-Asking for a bra for Christmas. I am officially a grown up!
-Planning for our first married Thanksgiving next Thursday! I’m cooking EVERYTHING myself! Nervous, excited, and I hope I don’t fail in my [sarcasm] “wifely duties” [/sarcasm]
-Making my way through novels lately. I. will. catch. up!
-Got my awesome winter clothes out of storage. LOVE cozy sweaters. It’s practically an obsession.
-Bad, bad days at work this week. It’s so hard to not get discouraged. Lots of delicious moscato was necessary to survive this week.
-Being 17 books BEHIND SCHEDULE for my goodreads challenge. Getting married really took away my reading time! haha.
-Books ARE better than people. Well, some books are better than some people.
-DragonCity!!! A new game I downloaded on my phone. It’s like SIMS, but WITH DRAGONS!? bwuahaha. I love it. I’m so weird.
-Skits at church!! Although I couldn’t memorize my lines properly, I still had a blast pretending. ;)
-Texts from my bestie best friends. They make my days seem all the nicer and sunnier!
-How busy I’ve been at work. I feel like I’m drowning in tasking! =\ Better than being jobless, though.
-Memorizing lines for a skit on Sunday at church. Oi! I am not as good at memorizing as I used to be. That AND I seem to have developed a case of stage fright. Urgh.
-GAH! That room with all those books. It would be a dream come true! <3
-My Uncle Dana came into town to visit! I got to see him last night. I wish he and my Aunt Char lived closer to us.
-Plugging in my work laptop RIGHT BEFORE it’s battery dies!! It’s the simple things, guys!
-Hitting my head REALLY hard against the frame of my car this past weekend. OUCH! I’m pretty sure I gave myself a concussion. Still have a headache after four days. OI!
-Having to log off of my work email, etc in order to print ANYTHING at work. Ugh. #firstworldproblems
-Cuddly socks and sweaters.
-Reading Harry Potter in bed with my sweet husband. He is such an incredible man.
-Unexpected moments with old friends that seem to breathe new life into a friendship. I feel really close to my friend Ashlee right now. =)
-ZooBoo with my nephew and his parents! So much fun… even though I was the oldest person in costume!
-All the laundry stacking up at our apt. What my husband does in any given day to go through so many outfits, I will never understand.
-Miscommunications at work. I can’t seem to reach this co-worker. I try to “kill her with kindness” but I find that we continue to have trouble communicating. It’s frustrating…
-Noodles for lunch that leave an odd smell on your clothes.
-Cats and cozy sweaters and hot tea and pumpkin colored things (like pumpkins ;] ).
-Getting the script for a skit at church for the Kids service. It’s so fun!
-Writing at work. I love when it’s writing my own procedures. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy editing, too, but writing is my real passion.
-Audiobooks. They make my drive to and from work each day much more manageable.
-GET MY NEW IPHONE TOMORROW!!! WHOO!!
-AND MY AUNT DONNA IS COMING TO VISIT THIS WEEKEND. <3 She is like a second mother to me and I can’t wait to see her again!
-Tummy aches and not feeling good in general. Why is the fall such a painful time of the year for me?!
-This picnic blanket from Sewn Natural on Etsy. I LOVE IT!!!
-Books that break your heart. I know that seem like the opposite of awesome, but sometimes I need a little shock, it shows me how alive I am and how good the writing is, if I’m so attached to the story. Being alive is awesome.
-Celebrated our one month of married life this week! =) MITCH AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR A MONTH. <3
